Bola is a powerful and skilled fighter. He and his partner Klaymoor are veteran diggers/pirates, but old age is catching up with them both.

Bola appears on Manda island, where he somewhat unwillingly challenges MegaMan in the quest for the first Key to the Mother Lode. He doesn't care much about finding the Mother Lode and so doesn't put his all into it. Eventually he convinces his partner to forget the grand treasure and split the scene.

Bola is cool, collected, and doesn't take things too seriously. He also has an active sense of humor.
