| This demo of
Rockman DASH was given only to members of the Capcom Friendly Club.
It contains a beta version (early development) sample of the game
which has quite a few differences. Here's the tour. |

| An interesting title screen, obviously
very temporary. |

The first thing you notice is Megaman's head. His hair is a lot
lighter with a different style, and his face doesn't look quite
how we're used to.

| It doesn't take long to realize that
Megaman is... noticeably smaller than usual. Just look at him compared
to the Zakobon... |

| ...and next to the sign. Seeing as
this is early in development, it makes sense. The creators initially
envisioned the main characters to be around age 10-11 rather than
14, so naturally Megaman would be shorter. The upside to this (which
may just be the early game engine at work) is that Megaman seems
to move faster. His running and turning both appear to have added
speed, and smoothness. The downside is that his little legs make
it so that he can barely jump at all. |
